Cutoff Scores
The cutoff scores for TANCET have not been released yet by Anna University on its official website. Every year the organizing body sets the TANCET cutoff score. Students who desire to register for the counselling process can register through the official website of Anna University. The qualifying scores determine whether a candidate has cleared the exam but they do not confirm a seat in the intended college. The cutoff marks determine whether a candidate is eligible for admission to TANCET-registered institutes.
Candidates must remember that qualifying marks are not the same as TANCET cutoff scores.
This year in 2025, the cutoff may be higher than expected because of the number of candidates attempting the exam.
In this article, an expected cutoff will be provided; the actual cutoff scores may be different.
The TANCET cut-off is calculated on the basis of the following factors:
- Number of seats available

- Total number of test-takers
- The difficulty level of the exam
- Category of the candidate
- Highest and lowest scores in the TANCET exam
